Roade Library has a Jazz evening on the 20th April. Eclipse is a Jazz band that has played for us twice before to rave reviews. They play beautiful incarnations of well known classics and musicals and now have added another dimension with singer Felicia Chan.

Other recent events – Jazz Evening 24th Jan 2023
Our first event of 2023 was a jazz evening with local Hartwell band ‘Eclipse’, who gave their performance for free. The band explored different styles of Jazz in the first session. After which our guests were offered an amazing array of canapes. Following the interval Eclipse took us around the world with jazz pieces, and the audience tried to guess the countries from the tunes being played. This event was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
A fabulous spread of delicious food was available at the interval
The Library held a ‘One man Show’ where Steve Dimmer took us through the life of Victoria Wood
We were fortunate to be able to hold a musical evening with talented duo, soloist Helen Appleton-Wilson and musician Ian Riley
