Roade Junction Community Group is a charity that was formed to save Roade Library from closure in April 2019. The library is run completely by a dedicated group of volunteers and is self-funded. Our aim is to provide Roade and the surrounding villages with a full library service and a hub for social events, exhibitions, clubs and children’s activities. We took over the running of the library service in October of 2019 and were the first of the 21 libraries, threatened with closure in Northamptonshire, to start a community managed library and take over all aspects of its operation.
We also run a number of clubs and host Rhymetime for toddlers. We are now open again and will be holding events during the autumn and winter, so keep an eye on our ‘Events’ page for events and activities that are coming up.
