Spring Jazz Evening
Roade Library has a Jazz evening on the 20th April. Eclipse is a Jazz band that has played for us twice before to rave reviews. They play beautiful carnations of well known classics and musicals and now have added another dimension with singer Felicia Chan.

We hold regular book/Jigsaw/DVD sales, which often have plants and cakes for sale also. These usually take place on a Saturday morning. During covid restrictions these will be held in a marquee in the car park.
Planned fundraising events – Because of the restrictions we are just starting to develop a program for the summer and autumn.

The Strawberry Cream Tea at Perrys in the High St was held on Sunday 1st August 2021
We ran these ‘Summer Reading Challenge events during August this year
- This Weekend we have the Roade Halloween Festival, where maps are sold to guide you around the villages to the decorated houses.
- On the 9th November we have our first film night where we will be showing Military Wives.
- On November 30th we have another One man show with Steve Dimmer, where he will show clips and tel anecdotes about Alan Bennett
- Closer to Christmas there will be a musical evening and a Christmas Fayre sale.
